Kathie didn't help herself yesterday when she dropped a puppy on its head. So it is quite possible that we'll see a skit about that soon.

Paula Deen has Type 2 diabetes is the rumor floating around about the popular Food Network Chef. Paula Deen is best know for her fried, buttered and genuinely unhealthy recipes. She is a Southern Cook and most recipes from the South are fried, dipped, creamed, buttered and who else knows what, but it is good food. I grew up with a grandmother who was a southern cook, something at every meal was fried or covered in butter. No one ever claimed that Paula Deen's recipes were healthy. However, this new rumor may not come as a shock to some.

Suleman appeared on the morning program with nine of her 14 kids and let's just say the little ones had the run of the studio, while she tried to explain how exactly she makes it through the day.

Meredith Vieira confirmed this morning that she is leaving her post at 'Today' in June, ending weeks of rumors and speculation.

"After months of personal reflection and private conversations between my family and my friends, I've decided to leave Today in June," she said.

And another one bites the dust.

Just days after Katie Couric announced she is leaving 'CBS Evening News,' the Hollywood Reporter brings word that Couric's 'Today' show replacement, Meredith Vieira, is leaving the top-rated morning news program in June.

Though unconfirmed, NBC is expected to make the announcement official as early as next week.

Taking Vieira's place will be long-time 'Today' show newsreader Ann Curry. Curry's spot will be filled by Natalie Morales.

Katie Couric to Reunite With Matt Lauer?

Following word that Katie Couric is planning to leave her post at 'CBS Evening News' in the near future, the NY Times is now reporting that the 54-year-old anchor may pursue a syndicated talk show with her former 'Today' co-host, Matt Lauer.

But don't get too excited: According to the report, the move would be "intensely complicated," as Lauer's contract with 'Today' doesn't expire until the end of 2012, and NBC will probably make him a significant offer to keep him on the show.

8 Year Old Pepper Sprayed By Police [VIDEO]

An 8-year old was pepper sprayed by police on February 22nd at Glennon Heights Elementary in Lakewood, Colorado. The boy had been spitting and cursing at teachers, and the boy allegedly tried to stab the officers with a piece of wood. Police had been called to the school to deal with this boy previously.
