I have always been a fan of Game Shows. Some of my favorites include; Bob Barker's 'The Price Is Right,' Peter Marshall's 'Hollywood Squares' and 'Match Game' hosted by Gene Rayburn. Another long running game show is 'Family Feud.' I remember watching it during Summer vacations.

I am not some kind of uber feminist. Really. I'm not. The world has changed a great deal in my lifetime. Women have broke through so many barriers. But I do believe there's still work to be done.

I must admit I am loving the re-runs of some of my favorite shows from my younger days.  E and I will find a show I used to watch as a youngster and he loves them as much as I did as a kid.  Here are some of my favorite old school shows that E and I watch together.

Matthew Perry has had a tough time when it comes to TV shows.  Of course it was "Friends" that launched his career.  However, since "Friends" ended in 2004 he has had a hard time finding success with new TV projects.

If you grew up in the 80's then you probably watched the "Facts of Life" on a weekly basis and then watched the re-runs and probably still do today.  The "Facts of Life" debuted back on this day in 1979.  It was a spin-off from "Different Strokes".
