New Year, new you for 2022. Yes, that is about as overused as anything else these days. If you are though, seriously, looking to improve your fitness here in the new year it really doesn't have to cost you a lot.
I found out last year that my blood pressure is a bit on the high side. It was a scary day. I was seeing a doctor for something else when he looked over my numbers. He told me that we would reschedule our appointment and called to get me an appointment downstairs with another doctor.
You get up and you go to work, you come home just to repeat all of this the next day. Do you find time to workout? Sometimes finding that time is just so tough to do. I get it. We have so much to do in a days time. We know it's important though.
We have so many reasons we want to get in shape. We do know it is better for us. We also get that it makes us feel better about ourselves too. So we look into ways to get in shape. We vow to eat better and try to exercise. If we don't have the time to exercise we will for sure get up and move around while at work. It's the least we can do.
I know that going for a walk with your dog is by far a healthy thing for you to do for yourself; but it is also great for your dog. You both get to go outside in the environment. You both get some much needed exercise.
So if you are trying to get healthy and stay healthy you know one thing. It has to be more of a change in your lifestyle than crash diets. I mean if you really want to succeed.
We are in a time crunch. We may have a great vacation planned. Maybe we just really want to fit in a bathing suit we bought. Whatever the reason we need to get in shape.
Today is National Stress Awareness Day. I am pretty sure that we are quite aware how much stress there really is in our lives. I don't need to point that out.
