Despite recently weakening to a tropical storm, the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Isaac continue through Wednesday afternoon. The storm has dumped more than ten inches of rain across the area and left at least 725,000 homes without power.
I must live in a bubble because I did not know a thing about Jim Cantore until this morning. I came into work wanting to check on Tropical Storm Issac because I have friends in New Orleans. What I found was a guy talking about the weather who looks like he should be in a body building competition.

So this week has been a weird weather week. We nearly hit a record of 100 on Wednesday, it was 96 the day before in the mid 80's yesterday and today. Seriously it is the end of April. No it wasn't 4 ft of hail but it was more nasty weather that visited the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma this past weekend. Storm Search 7 Meteorologist Brian James was out storm chasing and captured this amazing tornado video outside Cherokee, OK.
Yesterday was a very interesting day in the Texas Panhandle. Severe thunderstorms rocked the Panhandle and some were amazing in a scary kind of way. If you have yet to see how powerful and interesting Mother Nature can be, then you have to see this video.
