What Websites Went Dark For the SOPA Blackout? [IMAGES]

On Tuesday, we told you about some of the sites — Wikipedia, Reddit and the Cheezburger network among them — that planned to go dark today in protest of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and PROTECT IP Act (PIPA), anti-piracy legislation under consideration by the US Congress.

They weren’t the only stops on the internet to take a stand — here’s a roundup of some of the most prominent peaceful protestors.

The site, as the name implies, only allows attractive men and women to flirt and mingle amongst each other. However, a virus dubbed ‘Shrek’ infiltrated the site last month, allowing tens of thousands of newbies to become members without going through the proper vetting process, first.

I love websites that feature funny pictures. I subscribe to ICanHasCheeseburger, a website full of pictures of cats with funny captions.

I frequent People of Wal-Mart, just to see how crazy some people will dress. I also love the website Awkward Family Photos, they are just funny. So when I came across a site this morning, I just had to share.
