Ever since the Wonder Woman trailer blew the doors off of Comic-Con International, fans have been ready for another round of footage or trailers. Everything about the character  lends hope to the idea that Wonder Woman will be the movie to right the sinking ship of the DC Cinematic Universe. And while it isn’t exactly the new trailer or huge photo spread we were hoping for, we do have a pair of new leaked photos to tide us over until the next official thing.

When I was a kid, it seemed like I was always getting dragged into fights with my parents that my younger brother would start. He would say something rude to my parents, things would escalate, and before I knew it, my mom was waving her arms in the air and shouting something about how “you two” were always misbehaving or getting into trouble. Meanwhile, I’m sitting in the corner reading a Star Wars novel and wondering just how the heck I got involved in this fight to begin with.

Zack Snyder makes superhero movies, but his characters don’t act very heroic. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features all the other trappings of the superhero genre: Capes, gadgets, outlandish muscles, punching stuff. But the two stars aren’t noble or chivalrous; they’re violent, aggressive, and angry — mostly at each other instead of the bad guys. In Snyder’s formulation, protecting the world from evil isn’t a gift or a calling; it’s a burden. And that feeling is reflected in the movie itself, a burdensome 150- minute slog about two men fighting over who is in the right when both are very clearly in the wrong.

In what is probably the best rumor of the week already, WB has apparently got their collective studio eyes on Michelle MacLaren to direct their upcoming 'Wonder Woman' movie. MacLaren is best known for her work on television, where she's directed some of the most riveting episodes of 'Breaking Bad' and 'Game of Thrones,' so she knows a thing or two about action and what makes for a compelling, complex character.

So here's some pretty exciting news on top of the already exciting news that Wonder Woman is getting her very own solo film from DC and Warner Bros. A new report reveals plans that Wonder Woman's first solo outing will be set in a time period before the 'Justice League' film -- actually, it'll be set long, long before then. Not only that, but there are ultimately plans for three 'Wonder Woman' films. Three! Your move, Marvel.

Marvel has been making some big changes to its standard comic book lore lately -- introducing both a new female Thor and a new black Captain America over the course of mere days -- and rival comic book giant DC does not want to be left behind. DC is progressive, too, you guys, and what better time to unveil their new take on a beloved superheroine than during Comic-Con week? It just makes sense!

On top of yesterday's news that 'Batman vs. Superman' is possibly looking for a Robin, word has leaked that they may want to get that much closer to the 'Justice League' goalpost by introducing Wonder Woman into the mix, and three actresses are currently in contention for the role.

The costume that ADRIANNE PALICKI will wear in NBC's new "Wonder Woman" show has been unveiled.  It's similar to LYNDA CARTER'S classic costume . . . only the gold highlights have been replaced with a less sparkly deeper gold color.

Linda Carter played a great Wonder Woman back in the day.  I loved Wonder Woman.  I even owned the costume.   Somewhere lurking in a family photo album is a chubby 6 year old in the costume.  Well along with most of the Superhero remakes, David E.
