Texas Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross to Offer Babysitting Classes
When it comes to earning extra money as a young person, babysitting is the way to go. However, parents don’t want to leave their children with just anybody, so if you or someone you know is thinking about starting to babysit, then this class would be perfect.
Don’t be this baby sitter.
The Texas Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross will be offering a babysitting class
Saturday, August 17th, 9a-4p
1800 S. Harrison
Registration: www.redcross.org/texaspanhandle or call 1-800-REDCROSS.
Cost: $85 – scholarships may be available.
The class goal:
To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.
