The Amarillo Zoo Honors Our Veterans With Free Admission

Veteran's Day is coming up on Friday, November 11th.  It is a day to honor our Veterans, the men and women who have risked their lives to protect our freedom.  It is a day to honor each and every one of these men and women.  The Amarillo Zoo wants to help honor our Veterans on this special day.

The Amarillo Zoo will be saluting all military service members, including active duty and veterans.  They will be honoring their service on Veteran's Day, Friday, November 11th.  Those military service men and women will be able to come out to the Amarillo Zoo and receive free admission for themselves and their family.

If you are military service, you must present your military or veteran organization ID, discharge papers or official military identification.  If you are family of deployed military personnel, please bring your active duty ID.

A fun day for our veterans and their family to enjoy all the animals and creep crawlies at the Amarillo Zoo.

The Amarillo Zoo is located inside Thompson Park.
