The Grass and Weeds are Taking Over Amarillo

I don't know if you have noticed this lately but it seems that the weeds and grass are slowly taking over Amarillo.

I was driving around the other day and noticed up and down the interstate it looks as if Amarillo is in need of some serious mowing.  The grass and weeds are out of control and taking over our universe.

Now don't get me wrong, my yard nearly took over my house the other day.  My backyard looked like a crazy jungle of weeds and scary things.  So I get it.

The rain has come and come and come and probably isn't finished.  So with all the rain, the grass and weeds are soaking it up.  Let's face it, they missed the glorious feel of the wet stuff.  When they get rain, they love to grow.  They are growing so fast it's hard to keep up.

I remember the days when I could let my lawns go, two maybe three weeks before mowing, however, that isn't the case anymore.  I have to mow weekly or else I have an serious problem on my hands.

So I guess the city is having that exact same problem.  They can't keep up with the rain and the growth.

So with that said, where in Amarillo has the highest grass and weeds growing?
