The Salvation Army has been collecting donations and gifts throughout this holiday season and now they are in need of volunteers to help distribute those Christmas gifts.  The Salvation Army Angel tree had over 2,000 children and they need help distributing those gifts to those children.  They are needing help from organizations like churches, businesses, civic groups, etc to volunteer.  They are needing at least 50 volunteers per day.   Then once the gifts have been distributed they will need help cleaning up.

Volunteer duties including putting bikes together other items and making sure toys, clothes and other things are organized.  The Rex Baxter Building will become a huge distribution center.

This is a fun volunteer opportunity.

Dates for vounteer needs are as follows:

Actual Distribution Days – December 19th ,2015 1:00pm – 5:00pm
December 21st, and 22nd, 9:00am-5:00pm

Distribution Cleanup – December 23rd, 9:00am-5:00pm

If you or your organization are able to volunteer please contact the Salvation Army and Tammie Roa at 373-6631, Ext. #75516 or by email at
