One of my favorite things to do is to lay out on a blanket in the grass, or on the trampoline or in the back of a truck on a really clear night and just watch the stars.  The Texas Panhandle has some of the best stars to just gaze at on a summer night.

It's fun to lay there and just try to pick out the constellations and see who knows more constellations than the other person.

Stars are just beautiful.

If you love stars and love to star gaze then you definitely want to mark your calendars and make note of this awesome event.

Palo Duro Canyon is having a Week Night Star Program on Friday, June 16th from 9-11pm.

Come learn the stories the stars have to tell.  Learn all about the names of the days of the week and see how they are written in the stars.
