Here is another reason why I'm to the point of giving up on TV.  You get into a great series and the next thing you know it is canceled.  Another great show is now seeing its end in a few weeks.

Showtime has decided to cancel The United States of Tara.  It is a show about a mother who suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder or DID.  Toni Collette plays Tara, and is outstanding in this show.  Not only does Toni play Tara she also plays her alters, Buck, a vietnam vet, Alice, a 1950's stay at home mom, T, a out of hand teenager, Shoshauna, a psychologist,  Chicken, a toddler, and that is to name a few.

This show follows her as she tries to get this disorder under control.  John Corbett plays her husband Max, who stands behind her and loves her despite the other 6 people living inside her.

All I know is this is the final season and I'm am disappointed because it is another well written show that will see its end.

I wonder if it will see a proper end since it has already been filmed and the actors have all moved on to other endeavors.  I just hope it doesn't end in a cliffhanger that will never be resolved.

Ratings have been dropping for Tara since it's first season debut

Diablo Cody created this series and Steven Spielberg is the executive producer.

Toni Collette picked up a Emmy in 2009 and a Golden Globe in 2010 for her performance.
