The Wiener Dogs Get Set to Race at the Amarillo Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals

If you are a fan of the dachshund or as many people call them wiener dogs, then you will love the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals coming to Amarillo tomorrow.

If you need a good laugh and are ready to cheer on about 50 cute little pups racing down a track, then you definitely want to come check out the wiener races.

The first races begin at 9:30am at the Amarillo Sox Stadium.

If you want to get your wiener dog in the race, registration begins at 9am and it is absolutely free.

Amarillo Regional finals will be at 7:30pm during the Amarillo Sox game.

The winner receives $250 and a trip to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, California to compete for the championship in the Wiener Nationals.
