You are feeling the urge to snack. You are trying to eat healthy. So you know the chips are out. Oh and those cookies in the break room too.

You are trying to be good but it  really is harder than you thought. Especially when you want to snack. You pack some fruit. Maybe even some veggies. You though want something with a little more substance.

Something that will fill you up even more. Reach for the popcorn. Yep, popcorn is really pretty good for you. I mean as long and you don't drench it in butter. You know that though.

Popcorn has a good amount of fiber. So it really helps with those hunger pains. It helps you feel fuller longer. That is not the only benefit.

Popcorn also has more antioxidants than fruits and vegetables. Popcorn has higher levels of concentrated antioxidants because it only has 4% of water. Those fruits and vegetables we snack on are made up of 90% water.

Consuming foods rich in antioxidants may be good for your heart health and could also help you lower your risk of infections and some forms of cancer.  you can Increase your antioxidant intake by eating popcorn!

So as your lunch is starting to become a distant memory and your stomach is starting to talk to you. You know you need to have something to tide you over until dinner. Popcorn is a great go-to.

Grab a bag of skinny pop or throw some in the microwave. You can make it without any butter and reap all the rewards.
