During our recent move, I found myself in a place that offered "Free DSL" and so I had not reconnected my Suddenlink high speed internet. That was a huge mistake.

I don't know if you're like me, but I use the internet for almost every aspect of my life. Whether I'm working from the house, enjoying a movie on netflix, or playing Xbox live with friends over the internet, I'm always using the internet for something.

You know that saying that "You don't know what you've got till it's gone?" Well, I had a real dose of that recently. Going from Suddenlink's high speed internet to a DSL "high speed internet" service slapped me in the face with reality. DSL cannot hang. Plain and simple.

I'm used to being able to utilize 4 or 5 wireless devices with no buffering or any other intrusion due to connectivity. When I moved to DSL, I couldn't even watch a movie on netflix without getting a buffer "reloading" message multiple times throughout the movie. Bandwidth was ridiculously low and killed the speed of any browser, mobile or desktop.

Needless to say, I got my Suddenlink high speed cable internet back ASAP and have been happy every since. No more intermittent service or just no service at all. No more buffering. Just smoking internet all the time.

I will never make that mistake again. DSL does not even compare to Suddenlink's high speed internet.
