University of Texas in Austin Calling for an Evacuation of Campus Buildings Due to Threats

The University of Texas has asked all of its faculty and students to evacuated all campus buildings and to move as far away from the buildings as possible.

According to our friends at ProNews7:

University of Texas director of communications Rhonda Weldon says the university received a call about 8:35 a.m. from a man with a Middle Eastern accent claiming to be with al-Qaida. The man said he had placed bombs all over the campus that would go off in 90 minutes.

So far no bombs have been found on campus.
