Zach Sobiech is singing with the angels now.

Zach died Monday at the age of 18 after a battle with cancer, but he left behind more than just memories for those who knew him.

After learning that he only had a few months to live, Zach decided to write music as a way to say goodbye. A lot of music. Eventually, he released an album on iTunes that featured the song ‘Clouds,’ which became a YouTube sensation and garnered a lot of interest among people who knew his story and even those who didn’t.

This video shows how extraordinary a person Zach was and makes you truly appreciate all you have. You can honor his legacy by donating to the cancer research fund he launched.

Earlier today CBS went through with a rather late pickup of the upcoming ‘Bad Teacher‘ adaptation, but the confirmed offerings for the network’s 2013-2014 slate have a few reveals of their own. The network has released extended trailers for Chuck Lorre’s ‘Mom,’ Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams‘ ‘The Crazy Ones‘ and more, so get your best look yet at CBS’s fall lineup inside!

You might have noticed we tend to avoid most of CBS’s three-camera sitcoms, making the eye network’s fall 2013 pickups full of single-camera comedies all the more intriguing. Today the network has unveiled a new slate of trailers for its upcoming offerings, among them David E. Kelley’s ‘The Crazy Ones,’ Will Arnett and Margo Martindale’s ‘The Millers,’ and Toni Collette thriller ‘Hostages.’

Regardless of the McDonald’s product placement, we’d be hard pressed to deny the appeal of ‘The Crazy Ones’ given the presence of SMG, Robin Williams and ‘Mad Men‘ mystery man James Wolk. The Kal Penn-starring “We Are Men’ certainly looks better than we initially gave it credit for, while Anna Faris and Allison Janney’s performances in the ‘Mom’ trailer help sell another winner for Lorre. We’re a bit less sold with regard to ‘Arrested Development‘s star Will Arnett’s turn in ‘The Millers,’ but we’d be willing to give it a try off the bat.

Hopefully more new trailers of the fall offerings will arrive, but in the meantime check out the latest looks at CBS’s fall lineup below, and tell us which catch your interest in the comments!

Having returned to the public sphere with his most recent Academy Award hostings and the upcoming ‘Monsters University,’ legendary comedian Billy Crystal will next head to TV full time. The ‘When Harry Met Sally’ funnyman will headline a new FX single-camera comedy pilot ‘The Comedians,’ but what about the creative team has the TV industry already buzzing?

FX has been steadily building toward more comedy additions, given the release of its upcoming spinoff network FXX this fall, and has tasked revered comedian Billy Crystal with spearheading the charge. We’ve learned that Crystal will star, write and produce in the single-camera comedy pilot ‘The Comedians,’ following a veteran comedian reluctantly paired with a younger, edgier comedian for a late-night comedy sketch show.

‘Seinfeld’ producer Larry Charles, ‘Burn Notice‘s’ Matt Nix and Ben Wexler (‘Community,’ ‘Arrested Development‘) will serve as writers and producers of the series along with Crystal himself. Says FX President John Landgraf of the news:

It truly is an honor to be in business with Billy Crystal and Larry Charles, two of the all-time greats in comedy. We have also wanted for some time to be in business with Matt Nix, who has done such an amazing job creating and running ‘Burn Notice.’ They, along with Ben Wexler, are an unbeatable team and we’re incredibly excited about this project.

Ed Sheeran brought his trusty guitar to ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ and offered a lovely live rendition of ‘Lego House.’ Illuminated by the soft glow of overhead lights, it was a quiet yet powerful appearance, as fans surrounded him at the foot of the stage. It was totally intimate.

The singer also shared a photo of himself partying with that dancing maniac Psy at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. They were sippin’ on the bubbly.

On Thursday’s episode of ‘Ellen,’ America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston will be acting as co-host. In order to promote the show, the crew made a hysterical skit involving a few ‘Friends’ cast members — including Aniston, Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox — and some adult situations that most definitely would not have appeared on the NBC hit.

The group took the time to take a few light jabs at one another, all under the guise of Aniston asking Perry for some co-hosting advice. But what she got was much, much more.

If you ask us, our ‘Friends’ reunion hopes have been completely satisfied, even without an Gunther cameo.

You might recognize a few of these faces from last week, when we showed the man on the right, Karl Stefanovic, pranking his co-anchor from Australia ‘Today’ on the air. He’s back, and this time he’s trying to eat the world’s hottest pie.

If this confuses you, in Australia they make delicious savory pies, so it’s not like he’s eating a fiery strawberry-rhubarb pie or something. Although, the sugar would probably help with the burn, considering the sweat that breaks out all over his face, the fact that he can’t finish it, AND that it actually makes him feel sick. Nice try though, Karl.

A couple of nights ago, Will Smith stopped by David Letterman’s ‘Late Show‘ to promote his newest film ‘After Earth.’ But before he did, the one-time Fresh Prince delivered an impromptu summer jam. 

While making his way to the chair, Big Willie Style noticed the CBS Orchestra was playing a familiar tune: the rapper/actor’s ’90s favorite ‘Summertime.’ Naturally, he took to the mic and made the crowd realize why parents just don’t understand. Oh wait, wrong Will Smith song. Regardless, the rap obviously excited both the crowd and band alike.

Perhaps in an effort to put those pesky pregnancy rumors to rest, Beyonce released two new videos from her Mrs. Carter Show world tour — and in one revealed that she had tonsillitis, which may help to explain her cancelled show in Belgium.

Before her concert in Zagreb, Croatia on April 17, Bey talked into a camera and dished on her illness. “I’m actually quite nervous because yesterday I was diagnosed with tonsillitis,” she admitted backstage. Smiling through her pain, she continued, “Hopefully I’ll give Croatia a great concert. I’m gonna fight as hard as I can and I know that God has my back and God will protect me.”

That may be a plausible excuse for her cancelled show — reportedly on doctor’s orders — in Antwerp, Belgium. Not everything is the result of a bun in the oven!

Despite her illness, she still put on an amazing show, evidenced by her pretty pipes belting out ‘Halo’ at the clip’s conclusion.

And because she’s a ‘Grown Woman’ and can do whatever she wants, she also started performing the track, which leaked this week, live. One of her tour staffers put it simply: “It’s a different Beyonce, it’s a very heartfelt Beyonce.” If she can sing with tonsillitis, you better believe it’s heartfelt!

In the final trailer for Zack Snyder‘s ‘Man of Steel,’ General Zod (Michael Shannon) takes front stage to threaten Henry Cavill‘s Superman and the planet Earth. And if you thought the last trailer looked amazing, this is better and includes Amy Adams suiting up in a space outfit.

‘Man of Steel’ is almost here, and the marketing is now kicking into full gear with this final trailer. Here, we get better look at General Zod’s sidekick Faora (Antje Traue), and a hint that Superman and Lois Lane’s relationship will be a key factor in the movie. And what’s up with the skeletons?

Each new trailer makes this movie look bigger, crazier, and more impressive than the trailer before, and if it can deliver on the promise of this footage, we may be looking at the blockbuster of the summer. ‘Man of Steel’ hits theaters June 14. Here’s the film’s synopsis:

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Water adds so much to a garden. And while ponds and pools are nice, the trickle and splash of an active fountain breathes fresh air and even a bit of a mystical quality into your garden oasis. When it comes to choosing or building a fountain for your garden, there are many options available to you. Some of these options can be quite complex (if you so desire), but they don’t have to be.

Depending on your time, budget and level of building skill, you can erect a fountain to rival the best in Rome (okay, that might be pushing things a little), or perhaps something a bit more humble, yet still full of outdoor charm. Here are a few ideas to help you along your way in creating the fountain you desire:

Wall Fountains

Wall fountains come in all shapes and sizes. They’re great for larger gardens and smaller ones alike. Classical designs abound, as do sleek styles with modern-looking curtains of water streaming down glass, stone, rock and brick, or even open air. There are plenty of guides online that can help you build your very own wall fountain, but f you’re not into building one from scratch, there are kits you can buy or already-completed fountains. Of course, you can always call a contractor and have him or her install the fountain for you. No matter what course you choose, a wall fountain is almost guaranteed to help you enjoy your garden even more.

Three-Tier Fountain

You can pick up a three-tier fountain, which can be reminiscent of something you might find in a colorful courtyard in Seville, Spain, for under $400. If you want a bigger “splash” for your buck, you can always dish out some extra money for an even grander fountain. Why limit yourself to the traditional three-tier design when you can opt for four or five tiers? Regardless of the number of tiers you decide upon, a cascading tiered fountain is a wonderful option when you want to add a refined look to your garden.

Ceramic Pot Fountain

Here’s a fountain you can build fairly easily. You’ll need to purchase some basic tools and materials, like a large ceramic pot, fountain kit, rubber stoppers and drill (if you don’t have one already). After that, go through a few step-by-step guides and build yourself a nifty ceramic pot fountain. The bigger the pot or jar, the larger your fountain will be, of course. Check out different fountain plans, and don’t be afraid to use your imagination.

Birdbath Fountain

Who doesn’t like to see the little birds twittering about the fresh water flowing in and out of a birdbath fountain? While the diehard do-it-yourself crowd out there could build one of these water-based art pieces for themselves, there are tons of premade designs you can purchase and install with relative ease. With a few pointers from your local gardening expert, or the Internet (always check out more than one how-to guide), you can have your birdbath fountain up and running in no time at all. If the birds visiting your backyard could talk, they would surely thank you for your efforts.

Rock-Pond Fountain

A cool rock-pond fountain is something you can buy prefabricated or build yourself. The selections here are endless. In many ways a rock-pond fountain can be similar to a three-tier fountain, although rather than making use of concrete or other classical materials, the fountain is constructed out of rocks (fake rocks for some store-bought options).

Illuminated pools, simple or elaborate designs, and a natural-looking feel are just some of the creative ways a rock-pond fountain can add to the playful or soothing ambiance of your Zen-like garden. With a water pump, some good-size rocks, and a little knowhow, you’ll soon be enjoying one of these wonderful fountains at home for yourself.

For as much as we know ABC’s upcoming ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ series won’t feature ‘The Avengers‘ themselves, it seems Marvel’s mightiest superhero team will have a spiritual presence on TV after all. The first official trailer for Disney XD’s ‘Avengers Assemble’ has made its way online, with more than a few shades of ‘The Avengers’ beyond the character design.

It may be a while yet before we get a chance to see Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ series, but Disney XD has just the thing to satiate our superhero fix. The first trailer for the ‘Avengers Assemble’ animated series has arrived, the spiritual successor to ‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes,’ clearly designed to evoke the look and feel of Joss Whedon‘s 2012 blockbuster.

The series will air a preview on May 26 on Disney XD, before its proper debut on Sunday July 7, while the first episode of the series is also available for free on iTunes. ‘Avengers Assemble’ brings together a cast that includes Adrian Pasdar (‘Heroes‘) as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore (‘Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness’) as the Hulk, Roger Craig Smith (‘Wreck-It Ralph‘) as Captain America, Travis Willingham as Thor, Troy Baker as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson as Falcon.

Set on a Norwegian talk show, this prank doesn’t involve any ghastly ghouls or zombies in coffins like we’ve seen in the past. It merely consists of two jokesters duping elevator riders via a “voice activated” experience they’re calling “The Intelevator.”

As soon as people enter the duping begins, offering different themes to be had for different riders — such as a Donald Duck experience or a different language setting. Yet as comical as those are, our favorite is the more bizarre ones, like coordinating a floor to the number of claps provided.

Unsurprisingly, ‘Game of Thrones‘ weddings have been the talk of the season between this past Sunday’s all-new episode “Second Sons” and the multiple manners in which Robb Stark’s marital actions last season have come to complicate the Northern rebellion. As we head into the climactic final episodes of season 3, should we be worried for any of the upcoming unions?

For as long as ‘Game of Thrones’ readers have been dreading major events of the books brought to life on screen, the final two episodes of the current season will no doubt change the landscape of the series going into the HBO drama’s fourth season. To help preview the changing dynamics, HBO has issued a new look into the politics of marriage within the ‘Game of Thrones’ world that reminds viewers how important marriage alliances can be.

Between Tyrion, Sansa, Cersei, Loras, Margaery, Joffrey, Robb and the Freys, marriage will no doubt have a large impact on the final episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 3, but what do you think? Laura Fernee hasn’t had a job for two years because she claims her good looks are too distracting, which still puts her several years behind any female with the last name ‘Kardashian.’

Fernee, who worked at a research lab from 2008-2011, said she had to quit because she couldn’t take the chatter about how beautiful she is:

I’m not lazy and I’m no bimbo. The truth is my good looks have caused massive problems for me when it comes to employment, so I’ve made the decision that employment just isn’t for me at the moment. It’s not my fault…I can’t help the way I look.”
