Vitalii Sediuk, the Ukrainian prankster who crashed the Grammys and later ran onstage to interrupt Adele's acceptance speech (only to be dispatched by Jennifer Lopez and her mighty Thumb of Doom), is facing six months in jail and up to $2,000 in fines.

There was really no need to rush the stage with proclamations of love, dude. Adele already knows everyone loves her.

After the incident, Sediuk spent the night in jail, but now he could get a much more severe sentence.

As a result of the stunt, he's facing two misdemeanors -- entering a performance area and interfering with performers -- which could get him up to six months in clink and cost him $1,000 for each offense.

It's not his first celebrity prank. He's also the one who gave Madonna those hatred hydrangeas and once tried to plant a kiss on Will Smith, getting a smack across the face in return.

His arraignment will take place May 31. If he's lucky, J. Lo will be otherwise engaged that day.
