When Bad Days Sneak Up On You
I’ll admit I have my bad days. I may sound cheery and happy on the air, but today I am having a really rotten day.
I don’t know what it is, but my attitude stinks and I just want to scream at everyone.
I know that isn’t the kind of attitude to have.
I’m not sure where it came from? It could have been the bad news I got last night about my Meme. It could have been from the dreams I had last night which I cannot remember. It might have been the millionth argument with my son about getting dressed this morning. Heck, it might be that I drank my 64 oz of water before noon today and it washed the happy right out of me. Who knows.
I walked into this building in a bad mood. I even told Rick this morning, “I’m in a horrible mood but I don’t know why?”
I have a co-worker who is also having a bad day and she said it best, “I am just toxic today.” I told her that if we got in the same room it could cause a spill.
It’s Friday, it should be a happy day.
So my question is, what do you do to get yourself out of a bad mood?
I usually eat enough chocolate to cover the state of Texas, however, I’m trying to eat more healthy these days and that wouldn’t work.
What is a good way to pull yourself out of a funk?
