I love my sleep.  I know most people love their sleep.  However, when you don't sleep it can mess with you.  It screws up your whole day and it messes with you mentally.  I feel bad for people who suffer from insomnia.  Not being able to sleep on a regular basis must be miserable because I am dragging right now and that is just one night without sleep.

I have a friend who can't sleep, so the way she goes to sleep is with the help of Ambien and well let's just say, Ambien is not friendly.  It causes you to do the craziest stuff.  My boyfriend suffers from insomnia and doesn't sleep hardly at all and when he does, it's like for 30 minutes at a time.

I don't know how you insomniacs survive.

I went to bed last night about 9:30p and laid there watching TV, which is normal, but then 10:30 rolled around and nothing.  No zzzz's for me.  So I turned the TV off, and got comfy and laid there, then flipped to the other side.  Nope nothing.  So I laid there til midnight and sleep did not come.

So I got up.  I emptied the dishwasher.  Then I folded a load of laundry.  Then I worked on my toilet because it wouldn't stop running.  Then I went back to bed and laid there, again.  I counted, I got to 100 and gave up.  I read a chapter in a book.  I checked out Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  Nothing.  By this time it's 1:45 and I'm still not asleep.  So it seemed hopeless.  I have a clock that projects the time on the ceiling, so last night I hated that thing, because it kept taunting me and teasing me, "Ha! Ha!  You can't sleep."

I remember the last time I looked at the time it was 2:32am.  Next thing I know my alarm is going off at 4:30am, which of course I hit snooze.  I swear that snooze lasted 30 seconds.  So 4:39am I'm up and starting my day.

So I apologize if I act grumpy towards anyone today I apologize, however I have had enough caffeine this morning to keep me up for a week.  Maybe I can sneak a nap under my desk today.
