As most of you know, I have a friend and his name is William I have talked about him over the years, and he is a Children's Miracle Network kiddo.  He suffered multiple aneurysms at the age of four that left him in a some what comatose state. Even the doctors didn't expect him to live.  However, this little boy has been fighting hard and beating the odds over and over again.  He's my hero and he is a miracle and something amazing happened over the weekend that I just had to share.

A few days ago William's dad Roland posted on the Prayers for William facebook page:

We went to Dr. H last week and were given some very encouraging news. We asked the Dr. if William was ready for a passimere valve for his trach, and he did great! The valve allows him to breath in through his trach, but forces him to breath out around the trach through his mouth and nose. He was able to go for about 7 min. the first time and the second time he went for 30 min. Yay William! This valve will help him to build strength in his lungs and throat area, not to mention allow him to make noises or even speak! We are so excited! Thanks again for your continued prayer and support for our little hero! We praise God for all he is doing.

I'll admit when I read that update, I was full of wonderful hope and I shed a few tears because this is a wonderful thing.  His parents have been praying and waiting to hear little William's voice again.

Then it happened!  It happened!  After 2 years and one month they got to hear their little boy's voice again.

I will tell you that this little boy is a fighter. He keeps on fighting.  He will keep on fighting until he can get up and play with his brothers.
