Wonderland Park Amarillo’s Own Treasure

I grew up going to Wonderland Park.  Every summer our family would get together and drive to Amarillo and have a picnic in Thompson Park and then go ride all the rides at Wonderland Park.  

It was always a blast!  My favorite ride has always been the Pirate Ship.  I loved that ride, and when they took it away I was so sad, but then they brought it back and all was well.

I love sharing the experience that I had at Wonderland Park with my son.  He loves all the rides, especially the ones where he gets wet, like the Pipeline Plunge and Shoot the Shute, plus the Frog Hopper.

Wonderland Park is celebrating their 60th anniversary this year and this 4th of July  they are offering a great deal, you can get 4 ride passes for $40.  Plus, on Monday, July 4th they are inviting you to celebrate with them with a 60 ft cake, in honor of their anniversary.  Come dressed in your best patriotic outfit and you could win a party for 10.
