Did you have a teacher that was a hottie?  If so, then you may be smarter because of it. A new study by UNLV reveals that students perform better in school if their teacher is attractive. Researchers played an audio lecture for two groups of college students. One group of students listened to the tape while viewing pictures of an attractive instructor while the other group listened to the audio while viewing a picture of a less attractive instructor.  The photos of the “professors” featured both males and females.

After listening to the audio, the students took a test. The students, who listened to the audio with the more attractive teacher scored better than the other group.  Of the 131 students participating in the study, 86 were women and 45 were men. Their average age was 20.
