Early Sunday morning an Amarillo girl was shot at a party. She suffered life threatening injuries from the shooting. Police are currently searching for a stabbing victim who fled the scene in a car.

Reports state that at about 4:20 am on Sunday morning police found a 15 year old girl in a parking lot in the 3600 block of NE 24th suffering from a gunshot wound. Witnesses said she was shot at 1600 Iris Street where police had already responded to a large fight and and reports of a gunshot.

There were teenagers and young adults at the party when police arrived. No-one has been arrested at this point. Neighbors reported that there are frequent parties at the house, but none had knowledge of the shooting.

Two neighbors reported hearing the gunshots following a loud fight and after they heard screams from the location.
