Mommy Blogger Jess C. – The Defeated Child
As a mom of six kids I obviously have a wide variety of attitudes and characters. I can handle them all, except the defeated child. I am sure most parents of large families have at least one, and I of course had to be normal.
Mommy Blogger Jess C.- The Beauty and The Beast
Sunday I was on I-40 going through Arizona, and this time I fought for the chance to visit the Grand Canyon. After convincing everyone in the car it was a need, we made the detour. An hour later or so I was standing in front of such a beautiful site. I cried. I cried looking at the majestic beauty that was created by my God.

Mommy Blogger Jess. C – All Grown Up
Last week my itty bitty sweet and innocent little angel went for her first job interview. Uh, when did this little baby get told she could grow up? She was just my baby, all sweet and perfect.
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Spring Has Sprung
Last week we had some beautiful days, so we packed up the kids when Daddy got home from work and off to the park we went. It was so very nice. The kids went to the playground, Daddy and Mommy went for a walk, and it was such a great time.
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Sweet Shower Time
As a younger adult/teen, I never thought a shower would be so wonderful. Sometimes as a parent the shower is my escape, my sweet quiet moment from the chaos of having 6 kids in a really small house.
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Proud to Be A Texan
This weekend I visited California, So Cal. I had a good time, except I couldn’t help but notice the superiority of each person as they realized I was from Texas. When I would ask for sweet tea, they would look at me funny. As I would prepay for my gas for my suburban the looks of “how dare I ruin the environment” would ensue. As I would actually use my blinker to ask and inform other drivers o
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Parents Just Don’t Understand
Since when did parents get so stupid, at least that's the way TV shows, commercials and cartoons portray us. We are the idiots, and our children are more knowledgeable about everything.
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – The Vegetarian Life
At every meal where a group of people are we always get asked why we are vegetarians. I used to be a meat eater like most people. I enjoyed a good ribeye, nice and juicy. I loved drenching my bread in the juices. Loved a burger, you know the kind that required a handful of napkins cause the flavors were coming out with every bite. I loved meat. I made fun of my friends that were vegetarians.
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Why Do They Still Call Me Mom?
Some days I wonder why they all still call me Mom. Why haven’t they all run away yet? Some days I think I have lost my mind, and those are the good days. The bad days I know I have lost my mind. I have six kids, a husband in a band, a family that calling dysfunctional is an understatement. My life is really crazy, but yet people tell me I am a good mom. Are you kidding me??
Mommy Blogger Jess C. -Mommy Style Dinner Club
I am a part of a dinner club. The kind where we barely come up with a theme and no one dresses up for the night. The kind where the moms and non moms come together and relax and try their hardest to laugh at the lives we lead. Which we have found out isn’t too hard to achieve.
Mommy Blogger Jess C. – New Year’s Resolutions
Now that the year has been going for over a month, I wonder where the state of resolutions are now for the majority of people. I usually don’t make them. I guess I am too lazy, but I also don’t see the New Year as much different as the last year. Again, I am lazy on this issue, but this year, or last year, I decided to do it. I was going to make a resolution.
