One of my favorite things to do is to lay out on a blanket in the grass, or on the trampoline or in the back of a truck on a really clear night and just watch the stars.  The Texas Panhandle has some of the best stars to just gaze at on a summer night.

I took my son on a small adventure on Saturday.  It was an adventure in our own city.  I'm embarrassed to say this, I took my son to a museum that I didn't know existed in Amarillo until a couple of weeks ago.  We went and explored the Texas Air and Space Museum.

Shortly after resigning from his position, a Texas high school principal committed suicide in the parking lot of the school.

When it comes to education, we want the best for our children.  Most of our children are in the public school systems and when it comes to decisions about our children's education, we want to make sure the best people possible are in charge of those decisions.  Come meet and find our more about those who are and those who want to be a part of the AISD School Board.

The thought of touring a cemetery might be creepy, but you can always find amazing history in the resting place of those that have gone before us.  The Panhandle Plains Historical Museum has a wonderful opportunity to learn some great history in one of our local cemeteries.
