CMN has an amazing program, it is called Beads of Courage. Every time a child comes into the hospital for a stay, for treatment, they receive a bead. Each bead represents something different. Sadly, as beautiful as these strands of beads are, some of these kids Beads of Courage are feet long.

I love the saying in Alice in Wonderland where it says, "were all mad here". It's a mad world and its time to have fun celebrating the madness with an evening full of fun at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens.

Don't drive around in a dirty car, get it nice and clean at Quick Quack Car Wash.  However, wait until Saturday to wash your car and help out the Amarillo SPCA.

Blaze Coffee was an amazing young man who benefited from blood donation. You can honor his memory and help out the Coffee Memorial Blood Center by taking part in the Blaze Coffee Benefit Run this Saturday, May 20th in Panhandle Texas.

It's that time of year.  The year where cookies start taunting you.  They speak to you, "you know you want me," and "you know you can't leave with out me."  Yes, the Girl Scout cookie speaks and they are delicious and you can now buy your favorite.

It's that time of year again to get running and to help out a great cause.  The 7th Annual Cold As Ice Run benefiting The Bridge is coming up.

A great hamburger is hard to come by and so is granting a wish.  It's almost like you have to wish for a great hamburger.  Well in this instance, you don't have to wish for a great burger, you just have to plan on eating great burgers and that will help make wishes come true.

October means many things.  It's Fall, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it's Halloween month, it's Domestic Violence Awareness month, and so much more.  Not only does October cover the previous things, it is also a month for eating.  It's the month for eating for the United Way.  It's time to Dine United.

The Don Harrington Discovery Center isn't just for kids.  It's for adults as well.  Yes, it is fun to hang out and check out all the exhibits with the family and have fun, but did you know they have special events for adults.  It's their Discover AfterDark!  Since it is October the mad scientists have returned and this is one event you don't want to miss.

OK so maybe it isn't a battle, but it is lip sync fun while helping out a great cause.   LIPS! is back and ready to raise a ton of money for Opportunity School.

Remember as a kid going on scavenger hunts in the neighborhood?  Being sent out to find an empty green bean can or a single sock with a hole in it.  Those were fun!  There is an event in Amarillo that has taken it to the next level.  This event promises to be an adventure full of fun.
