Oh, 2024 you were here to keep us on our toes in Amarillo. We saw many restaurants and businesses open and close. The circle of life as we know it in this town. We found out right before Christmas about a for-lease sign going up in front of a beloved Amarillo restaurant.

Yolo's in downtown Amarillo announced that the sign was there but they were not closing. Nope, they were just moving. The landlord wanted to get the sign up as soon as they could so that they could get new tenants.

Yolo's wanted to make sure we knew that they would be in Amarillo. They were just changing locations. They found a place that would hopefully be more centrally located so that those that couldn't make it downtown could give them a try.

Location is important. I visited the food truck several times when they were in a location closer to my work and home. When they moved downtown I still went but it was not as frequent. The new location is hopefully great for a lot of people.

They recently took to social media to announce the move and where they were going.

They are in the process of remodeling the building, which is good. It needed a lot of work after the former tenant, Lupita's closed up.

Until they are moved into the new location you can still visit them in their downtown location. The move is hoped to take place in February. So Amarillo get ready for Yolo's to make their move to Western Street.

I am ready for a breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll. Check out their full menu HERE.
