Time To Get Your Shopping On at Amarillo's Tascosa Drive-In

Here we are ever so close to spring in Amarillo. You may be looking for things to do. One man's trash is another man's treasure. If you love to go out and shop don't let the wind damage at Tascosa Drive-In lead you to believe that their Shop & Swap is cancelled.

Yes, they have had to close for movies after the storm. That may not even be for long. They received a lot of damage in our land hurricane that destroyed parts of their ticket window and movie screen. It's kind of hard to show movies when there are panels from the screen missing.

The good news is they may even get the movie part open this weekend too. They are trying.

We’re working hard to get the screen fixed, and it’s looking like we’ll be open this weekend! We’ll keep you posted, but things are looking good.

Tascosa Drive-In

The show may not be able to go on but the shopping can. Since there is no admission for shoppers to attend the damaged ticket window will not be a factor.

We are beyond excited because we now have 50 vendors signed up so far—that’s DOUBLE what we had in October!
We have a great set of vendors with a variety of awesome items and live music by The…Lindi Leigh.
There’s still time to become a vendor if you want to join in on the fun! And for all our shoppers—get ready to shop ‘til you drop at the Tascosa Drive-In Shop & Swap!

Remember though as shoppers and vendors to remember Tascosa Drive-In as you are shopping and making money. Help them get some of the money to help keep them running for years. Every little bit helps a local business that needs it right now.

We want to be able to continue to have a place to host these Shop & Swaps and hopefully get back to the great family experience with the drive-in as it was intended.
