I've heard of some absolutely crazy hoaxes, some kind of funny, some absolutely harrowing. Recently, there was something that happened on an flight from Minneapolis, MN. that was headed to El Paso, Texas that was something nightmares are made of.

Flight attendants stumbled upon a note that stated, "You are all going to die. Help me."

The note was found by some passengers on the plane, which no doubt immediately initiated some panic amongst them. Someone turned the note over to a flight attendant who promptly contacted authorities.

They ultimately diverted the flight after speaking with authorities so they could get the 156 passengers on the plane off and search the plane for something that could've been catastrophic.

The FBI released a statement on Thursday stating that the note turned out to be a hoax and that there was no immediate threat on the plane.

The note was apparently written by two young children on the flight who thought they were being funny and didn't seem to have a true grasp on how serious something like that could be.

FBI agent John Morales stated, "Each threat of violence is taken seriously as your safety is paramount" and the hoax was referred to the United States Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Texas once the hoax was uncovered.

Ultimately the office decided to decline bringing any federal charges against the children in the hoax. No word on how old the kids were that produced and created the note, but there's a good chance they were very young considering no charges were being filed.
