Amarillo’s Old Toot’n Totum Has a New Owner — Here’s Who
When QuikTrip opened up in Amarillo with two locations, it was something that created major competition with any convenience store in its way. Toot'n Totum found that out the hard way with their location at Bell & Arden, and within a year of QT being open, that location was shut down.
The building went up for sale, and it only took about a month or so for it to be purchased. There was a lot of conversation and chatter about what might open there. One of the most guessed things was another coffee shop.

Listing Agent For Store Gives No Info
Well, I was curious as well, and I reached out to the agent who ultimately sold the property. The agent never reached back out to let us know who had purchased it. Doing some digging on who purchased it was coming up empty.
I did another check today through the Potter-Randall Appraisal District website, and some new info has populated on the site. However, it wasn't conclusive at first glance. Time to do some investigative work.
Who Purchased The Building At 7149 Bell St
According to the site, the deed to the building officially changed hands on August 7, 2025. The previous owner, John T. Smithee transferred ownership to PWRW Capital, LLC. Well, that didn't tell us a whole lot. What is PWRW Capital? That could literally be anything. Let's keep digging into it.
The Bizapedia file on PWRW Capital, LLC. shows it having the registered agent as Paul G Woodrell, and him as well as Robin L Woodrell being listed as contacts for the company. Ok, making a little more sense. PW for Paul, RW for Robin...PWRW.

Who Are Paul & Robin Woodrell
My first search was for Paul, and it pulled up some legal news about him from back in 2012. Outside of that, it wasn't giving me too much, but it DID tell me that he was the owner of Green Gorilla Smoke Shop. Inside the particular article I found, Robin was also named and made comments.
So it would appear that the old Toot'n Totum building on Bell is about to become a Green Gorilla Smoke Shop in the near future. There is actually a Green Gorilla Smoke Shop less than a mile up the road in that strip mall on Bell St. So the question now is, will they be moving operations over to the building? Or will there be two locations that close to one another? Stay tuned.
