Most everyone is familiar with the Shootout at the OK Corral, or someone making someone else mad in the saloon and demanding a duel in the middle of town.

Go ahead, skin it! Skin that smokewagon and see what happens! - Wyatt Earp Tombstone

Some of the most famous sharpshooters from the Old West were Annie Oakley, Doc Holliday, Wild Bill Hickock, Billy the Kid, and Butch Cassaidy to name a few.

Although the Old West shootouts and Wild West shows have gone away, the art and the talent of the quick draw have not.   That's why there are still events that happen in today's world that focus on the quick draw. One is coming to Amarillo this weekend.

The Xtreme Fast Draw World Finals Championship

This event will take place this weekend at the Rex Baxter Building on the Tri-State Fairgrounds and will feature competitors from all over the world competing to win the title of the Xtreme World Draw Champion.
