As the population of Amarillo continues to grow, the citizens want new places to shop and eat that you normally wouldn’t find here. People don't want to drive two to four hours or more to patronize a business, but they will. However, it would be easier to open a business here.

Amarillo has a huge dining and shopping scene. However, residents always want more options, and these options are the stores we want to see built. Amarillo is full of its local gems and charming boutiques, but sometimes more is more!

When something new opens in Amarillo, it only makes us want more restaurants and businesses the city doesn’t already have.

Keeping Money Local in Amarillo

Just because Lubbock has it, doesn't mean Amarillo shouldn't. We want to keep our money local so we can help our local economy. Yes, we can drive to Lubbock for H-E-B, Costco, or The Cheesecake Factory, but we would rather spend our money in Amarillo.
