Amarillo loves the news that we have a new place to try out. Especially when the news hits our sweet tooth just the right way. Over the weekend a new place to get a delicious cookie or two has opened up.

Amarillo has been the city of remodel as of late. There have been a ton of places that have closed just to get a much-needed facelift. One of the more recent places is the Starbucks on Georgia Street. It has been closed for a few weeks with looks of being a whole new place when back open. They were totally gutted.

Amarillo has some really great homes. No matter what you are looking for we have a home to fit your needs. Looking for a pool? Yep, even in Amarillo there are plenty of places that offer swimming options.

Having a family in Amarillo involves finding fun activities for the whole group to do. There is a lot to do and it seems this fall we keep adding to the list. One of the best things about having a family is reliving stuff you enjoyed as a kid.

It's been a pretty brutal summer this year in Amarillo. It is definitely going out with a bang. I mean we have seen many records being broken in the area. We have seen high temperatures smashing previous records. We have seen triple-digit temperatures more days than we would have cared to.

Amarillo, when you are waiting for food to get to you I know sometimes it seems to take forever. You are hungry and all you want is to enjoy whatever you ordered. As a delivery driver trust me we want to get you the food as soon as possible.

One of the biggest brags about Texas is the fact that everything is bigger and better in Texas. I mean it's true. It even gives us more and more chances to make sure that if something is not bigger here we work on it until it is.

It is fair to say that the Amarillo area has one of the most beautiful state parks nearby. We are so lucky to have Palo Duro Canyon right in our backyard. We have such a beautiful place for all the hikes. We are lucky to have a chance to take a trip to see Texas - The Outdoor Musicals, the canyon has so much to offer.

There is one location in Amarillo that has had a discussion a time or two about the location being cursed. Not haunted. No, but not able to keep a business in the location. The talk has been because of the parking. Maybe it was the fault of the business in the location.

The saying in Amarillo is if you don't like the weather wait ten minutes, it will change unless you are talking about this summer and this heat. We have seen a lot of hot days. We have felt a lot of triple-digit heat weather.
