I know it seems like the kids just went back to school in Amarillo from Christmas break. Oh, and they did. Just don't be that parent who forgets there is already an upcoming school holiday for the kiddos. Don't be the parent who drops their kid off at an empty school.

There is a lot of talk about tipping your delivery drivers in Amarillo. Some people think they pay enough fees through the delivery service that a tip shouldn't be necessary. They feel the delivery company should pay a decent wage. Oh, we wish that they would.

It's always cool to know what is coming before it happens in Amarillo. I guess that is why whenever a lot of us go to the movies the previews are one of our favorite things to catch. The excitement of knowing what new movies are heading our way.

Amarillo is about to get a new place to tempt our tastebuds. The thing is that it is not really new. Even so it's going to make a lot of people happy since it will be a new location for two favorite Amarillo restaurants.

Did you recently lose a class ring in Amarillo? Did you attend Tascosa High School and graduate in 1999? If so the reunion for you and your ring could happen very soon. All you have to do is claim it.

Buc-ee's is officially here in Amarillo. I can no longer say that I have never been to one. I walked in quickly before heading out of town for Christmas. I was on a mission. I needed to get my granddaughter an Amarillo Buc-ee's t-shirt. That was really all I needed and really is all I got.

It's not very often that a restaurant in Amarillo closes down and we find out about it long after it happened. To be fair, we are not even sure when it closed down. We took a drive by the location just to make sure they were closed.

Oh, 2024 you were here to keep us on our toes in Amarillo. We saw many restaurants and businesses open and close. The circle of life as we know it in this town. We found out right before Christmas about a for-lease sign going up in front of a beloved Amarillo restaurant.

Amarillo has so much fun for the families to go out and experience. We have activities that are seasonal like all the Christmas fun we just experienced. There will be fun activities this spring, summer, and fall as well. We do not lack for fun things to do.

There once was a time in Amarillo that there were several places to go when it was time to have a party. Every year for parties and birthday celebrations we could go to a few different places to get all of the stuff that we needed. If one place didn't have what we were looking for another one was bound to have it.

It just blows my mind to think Christmas is a week away, I hope you are ready Amarillo. The kids are about to be out of school for the year. So much to do and really so little time. All of the shopping. All of the baking to do.

In a perfect world, all parents in Amarillo will have a full two weeks off with their kids this holiday season. Maybe you were able to plan and save your vacation time. Maybe you were smart about your career and you are off when your kids are as well. What a great way to spend all of that time with your kids.
