You never know what the history of a place is.

One of the things I love about Amarillo is just taking my time and driving around. You can not imagine all the cool things you can discover if you just take the time. You might drive by something that you never noticed before. It probably has been there forever but you are just noticing.

I am the first to admit sometimes I miss things. I try not to but it is all part of being human. Now when it comes to food it really surprises me if I don't hear about a new place coming to town.

You learn something new every day. Or maybe it's really you are reminded of something you once knew. Case in point the Wienerschnitzel on the Boulevard had closed down. When exactly I am not sure. A few months ago.

We have weekly meetings trying to come up with story ideas. We sit around and talk about rumors about what is going on around Amarillo. We try to decide what is going to be a good read. What is going to be newsworthy?

This has been a crazy ride. Ever since the pandemic first hit and places have had to close we have been hit with staffing shortages. Many restaurants have been hit. Many are trying their darnedest to get employees in to work so that they can all operate on a normal basis.
