Once again Amarillo's Bubba's 33 is raising money for our local community. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

People are putting face masks in microwave ovens to sanitize them. Here’s a news flash-it doesn’t work.

The City of Amarillo has announced today that Jason Mays has been promoted to be the new Amarillo Fire Department Fire Chief.

The Copper Breaks fire has grown to a whopping 8000 acres from 5000 acres in 24 hours, AFD on scene.

They really are heroes.

When you fight fires with the Amarillo Fire Department, sometimes you have to get up early.

The Spring of Wildfire continues... there is a wildfire currently burning in near highway 287 and the Candian River. As of right now, it is 0% contained and the Fire Dept need help. This fire is coming on the back of another fire that broke out earlier today when 100 bales of hay caught fire in Potter County. They contained this fire just in time to go to the Candian River.

If you are out and about today and notice smoke pluming over Southeast Amarillo, please note that the fire will be under controlled and contained.
