Looks like Back to School in Amarillo was a success.  It seems your babies had a wonderful first day of school.

School starts on Monday and a lot of kids have already met their teachers and are super excited for the new year.  When Monday rolls around one of the things I am going to be looking forward to seeing is all the great back to school pictures.   They are the best.

You can help out a great cause by participating in the Foster In Texas "Back To School Bash".  The event will be held at the Pampa H2O Aquatic Center on August 13th.

Every year Texas offers a weekend where you don't have to pay sales tax on back to school supplies and clothing for back to school.  Some exclusions do apply but it gives you a chance to save some money especially if you have more than one child.

Amarillo's Mix 94.1 is teaming up with Education Credit Union and the High Plains Food Bank Kid's Cafe to collect school supplies for those in need this school year.
