I have no musical ability at all. Really. I don't. In elementary school, I had to learn to play the recorder. I feel like we all had to do that. I was ok with that. I am sure I still annoyed my family.

This was a big weekend for band competitions. The schools competed at Dick Bivins on Saturday. It was great to see the support happening for our schools.

After over thirty years of coaching baseball, Coach Gary Hix, is looking to retire at the end of this school year. He is retiring from Coronado High School in Lubbock after eleven years. He had been a coach here in our area even longer.

Everywhere across the Texas Panhandle it is Prom Season.Some are getting asked to go. Some are getting dressed to go.
