We know that the cost of college is just a lot these days. We also know that a college education is very valuable. If you could get some free money to help, would you want it? I mean especially if it's pretty easy to be on your way to winning?

To say that there is a dire need for blood donations is a massive understatement.

Through March 31, Coffee Memorial Blood Center will make a $10 donation to the Global Blood Fund for each donor who foregoes getting the t-shirt.

It seems like there are two things we are always in need of in the panhandle. We could "always use the moisture," and we need people who will donate blood.

Donating blood should make you feel good, but you can feel even better!

Have you had Covid before? Do you have the antibodies? Sometimes you just don't know. I felt sick at one point. It wasn't bad enough to go to the doctors. Did I have Covid? Maybe.

Have you ever really felt passionate about a non-profit here in our area? Maybe you donate when you can. Maybe you don't have the money but would really like to help. Either way today is the day to help out so much here in the Amarillo area.

If you know someone in college or someone heading that way today could be their day. Heck, maybe it's you. Why don't you do something to help with the costs associated with higher learning. How does $2,000 sound?

Well 2020 pretty much wiped out KidsInc. Donor days for their annual blood drive competition benefiting Coffee Memorial Blood Center, but 2021 is looking much brighter.

In the face of rising COVID-19 hospitalizations, Coffee Memorial Blood Center is announcing an aggressive new campaign aimed at recruiting more blood donors.

Coffee Memorial is having a blood drive at The Shops at Wolflin Square tomorrow from 10A-2P.
