What do you get when you combine Dr. Seuss and some fish? One would think one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, but not so much. This time you get an evening of fun helping out a wonderful organization.

‘The Lorax‘ movie has brought some well-deserved attention to the late Dr. Seuss‘ furry orange tree protector. But not all of this attention has been of a positive nature. In fact, some heartless thieves have stolen a 300-pound statue of the Lorax from Theodor Seuss Geisel’s San Diego estate where his 90-year-old widow, Audrey Geisel, still resides.

Friday, March 2nd is a date that we must celebrate. On March’s second day, we must say “Hooray!” With a “Yip yip yippee yay,” for Dr. Seuss’ own birthday. In celebration of Dr. Seuss Day, on the day of Theodor Seuss Geisel’s birth, (March 2nd, 1904, to be exact), we have dug up 15 facts about the self-proclaimed doctor that you might not know.

The Grinch has been trying to steal Christmas since the 1950's and although he never is successful he has stole our hearts for generations. What started out as a book by Dr. Seuss has been turned into an animated film and a full fledged motion picture.
