There was a time in Texas when you could be extremely drunk and it was legal.

Before you take a sip of alcohol this Labor Day weekend, plan ahead for a safe way home and save lives.

Let's face it Spring Break is an awesome time.  It's a time to have fun, get out of town, have parties.  This is a great time for students as well as adults however, if you are planning to party and that partying involved drinking the Texas Department of Transportation wants to remind you to make sure you have a designated driver.

If you intend to get your party on this New Year's Eve, then make sure you don't drive.  Not only do you risk hurting someone, you can also get a DUI that can cost you thousands.  Spend a little money and be safe.
