It's kind of ironic that it was just a few days ago I had written a story about how to prevent your pipes from freezing up during the recent batch of cold weather we've been having in Amarillo. I opened my front door last night and not only was I greeted by my little Pekingese MeMe, but also to the rhythm of falling water.

I've never been a fan of cold weather, but even here in the Panhandle we get our share of it during the winter. With cold weather comes the potential of your pipes freezing. If you're not careful, frozen pipes can lead to bursting pipes and a pretty hefty repair bill. So, here are a few tips to keep your pipes flowing smoothly.
