I remember as a kid sitting and watching Nickelodeon and waiting for Double Dare to come on. The family game competition that left the entire family covered in some kind of goo. I always thought I could run the obstacle course win! I was sad when the show was cancelled. However, Marc Summers in an interview with the HuffPost Live Marc said he would like to bring back Double Dare.

Alex Trebek, Rhyme Spitter? Rap God? MC? Oh yeah he was, at least during one 'Jeopardy' category on tonight's (Jan. 6) episode. But we won't quite suggest that Eminem move over just yet.

Later this year 'Wheel of Fortune' will begin it's 32nd Season on TV. It's gone on to become the longest-running syndicated game show in the United States. Let's spin the wheel and solve some of the secrets behind 'America's Game.'

I have always been a fan of Game Shows. Some of my favorites include; Bob Barker's 'The Price Is Right,' Peter Marshall's 'Hollywood Squares' and 'Match Game' hosted by Gene Rayburn. Another long running game show is 'Family Feud.' I remember watching it during Summer vacations.

I loved watching the "Price is Right" growing up.  I always had a dream of hearing the, "Lori Crofford, Come on down, you're the next contestant on the 'Price is Right'."  Then I would get up there bid $1 dollar, win and get to play Plinko and win a brand new car.  Wasn't that every kid's dream?

Apparently Freemantle Media has bought the rights to the game show Name that Tune.  The original debuted in 1952 on radio and then television in 1953.  It ran for 6 years.  However, the one I'm familiar with is the one that ran from 1974-1981.  Well we could see the revival of the game show coming soon to a TV network near you.
