Last night, Grey’s Anatomy fans were heartbroken and shocked to discover that one of their favorite, most enduring characters would be killed off in the newest episode — hours before it even aired. Thanks to a mistake made by Entertainment Weekly, the death of Patrick Dempsey’s Dr. Derek Shepherd (aka “McDreamy”) was well-known before audiences had the chance to watch the episode. That should have taken some of the sting out by allowing them to prepare for the tragic, abrupt death of Shepherd, but instead it only served to exacerbate outrage.

Yikes! It looks like a huge Grey's Anatomy spoiler leaked when an issue of Entertainment Weekly -- which details a major story arc of one of the show's main characters -- was sent out prematurely.

Eric Dane, Grey's Anatomy's McSteamy, has just check into rehab due to pain killer addiction.  Hmm, I guess playing a doctor on TV you have access to all those tiny little pills that make you feel better.  This does make me sad, another Hollywood actor fallen into addiction.

So Grey's Anatomy comes back from their hiatus with one episode and then goes away for another two weeks, same thing with Private Practice.  Every Thursday I get excited then bummed when I see repeat on my TV.  Hopefully soon I'll see new episode.  I ran across an article,  apparently sometime this season the two will come together once again when Kate Walsh returns to Seattle Grace but I'm not su
