The weather isn't cooling off anytime soon, so watch out for this

It is definitely the dog days of summer. With temperatures near and above one hundred for the next several days, it is important to keep an eye on your dogs. Some people think that my dogs are used to being outside.

Over the weekend there had been rescues in Palo Duro Canyon due to the extreme heat. They even sent out messages that they were closing the trail to the Lighthouse on Sunday.

I learned the hard way a few weeks ago that heatstroke is nothing to take lightly.
