The last full-size Kmart in the U.S. may have closed, but thanks to nostalgic videos, we can still keep the memories of Blue Light Specials and trips to the iconic cafeteria alive.

Have you played the game of driving around Amarillo and reminiscing about what used to be? If you have lived here any amount of time this becomes a fun game. Sometimes you have vivid memories about things.

There are a lot of things we still do on Thanksgiving Day. We get up and we either start preparing a big feast or we make some side dishes to bring to a family members house. Maybe we get up knowing we are going to head to The Big Texan for their buffet.

Sears and Kmart workers at 80 stores were told on Thursday, December 27th, that 80 more stores would be closing by March.

And so it begins.  It looks as if Christmas advertising is about to slap us in the face.  The first Christmas commercial of the season has been airing.

If you’re a regular shopper at Kmart or Sears, you may soon have fewer places to spend your money — parent company Sears Holdings has said that in light of decreased holiday sales, it’ll close at least 100 stores in the coming months.
