I didn't realize that Dennis Quaid made a horror/thriller movie.  I just ran across the trailer for the movie Beneath the Darkness.  He plays a mortician who is caught by a couple of teenagers dancing with a corpse and the terror ensues.   Prepare yourself to be creeped out and watch the trailer.

Disney revamped The Lion King and put it in 3D and re-released the movie into theaters  for two weeks.  However, in those 18 days it made nearly 79 million dollars.  So with that said, are they doing this to appeal to an entirely new audience or are they doing it for money.  It is a fine line, but I'm guessing it is a money maker for them, and in this world money is everything.

I'll admit I am a weenie when it comes to movies like the Paranormal Activity Franchise.  Most horror movies don't scare me, but this franchise freaks me out.  I watched the first two movies in the comfort of my own home because I dont' think I could have handled a theater full of people screaming.  With that said the trailer for the 3rd installment of Paranormal Activity 3 has been released and i

One of my favorite movies from the 80's is Beetlejuice.  Michael Keaton was awesome playing this crazy dead character that caused all sorts of trouble in the world of the dead.  Of course, who could forget the crazy dance he caused at the dining table to Day O (the Banana Boat Song), or trying to take Winona Ryder as a bride.  Plus, I think this movie was the skinniest Alec Baldwin had ever been. 

So one of the many movies that came out this weekend was a movie called Seven Days in Utopia.  It didn't get a lot of advertising and it didn't even make the Top 10 in box office draw this weekend.  However, it did make my list as one of my Top 10 favorite movies.

The Way will be coming to theaters in September.  It stars Martin Sheen and son Emilio Estevez who also directs the movie.

I must admit, I was not impressed by the first trailer that was released for the new Footloose movie.  It made me cringe because it seemed like the spitting image of the original movie.  However, this one is a bit better, but that is just my opinion.  I'm still not looking forward to the remake, but I will grin and bear it and probably go see it.  What do you think about the newest trailer?
