This weekend marks a celebration in Canyon you don't want to miss.  They are getting into the Christmas Celebration.  They have a fun Christmas evening scheduled for this Saturday and you and the family don't want to miss it.

Last year because of the frigid temperatures, Center City decided to cancel the holiday electric light parade.  So we didn't get to see the amazing decorated holiday floats.  However, this year the parade is back.  So make plans to take the family downtown to enjoy all the floats and the lightning of the City Christmas Tree.

Due to severely freezing temperatures rolling into the area tomorrow and stay for the entire weekend, the Electric Light Parade in Amarillo has been cancelled.

OK I'll admit, I'm a little giddy.  I will be attending the Center City Electric Light Parade tonight!  I love watching Ethan as all the floats pass and his face lights up brighter than the lights on the float.  Yay!

Tons of people flocked to Canyon from Amarillo to enjoy their 4th of July parade and Fair on the Square.  My husband and son may their way down to Canyon to enjoy the fun as well and brought back pictures.  Ethan had a ton of fun and came home with a bag of candy...

Yep.  New York's biggest parade is being made into a Hollywood movie. What's next, a film based on a gum wrapper? Producers Scott Glassgold and Ramond Brothers of IAM Entertainment have bought the rights to develop a film based on the annual parade. Says The Hollywood Reporter:
