The house of the late Charles Schulz, creator of the iconic Peanuts comic strip, was completely destroyed on Monday when the fires arrived in the middle of the night.
Dig this, blockheads: The ‘Peanuts’ gang, originally created by cartoonist Charles Schulz, have appeared in so many incarnations in their 65-year history. They’ve been a comic strip, a series of much-beloved television specials, a Broadway musical, greeting card staples, and even the successful pitchmen for life insurance. Now, for the first time, they’re becoming a 3D feature film, with this year’s ‘The Peanuts Movie.’
When a big-screen, CG-animated 'Peanuts' movie was announced, many people groaned a hearty "good grief!," worried they would ruin the cartoon classic. But, today we get a first look at Charlie Brown and Snoopy in the 'Peanuts' movie and, you know what? It looks very faithful to the classic Charles Schultz design.

See one of the glutenous little creatures perform the feat after the jump.
