If it seems suspicious, there is nothing wrong with asking questions.

The American people could use some help.

It is that most wonderful time of the year. Don't think because we are all in the holiday cheer that the bad guys are taking any time off. I think they feel this is the best time to try to scam us. So don't fall for anything.

There have been a lot of scams going around. Why people take the time to create such issues. Especially because I feel most of them shouldn't be fallen for. Maybe it is because some of the time people actually fall victim.

The scammer will call pretending to be someone from Amarillo National Bank's fraud department.

A good rule to remember in situations like this, is that official agencies don't take payment via gift cards or money cards.
